  1. Déterminer le domaine de définition de chaque fonction :

    3. \(f_3(x) = \ln(x^2 - 5x + 6)\)

  2. Simplifier puis calculer (sans calculatrice) :

    1. \(A = \ln(80) - 4\ln(2) - \ln(5)\)

    2. \(B = 2\ln(\sqrt{18}) - \ln(2) - 2\ln(3)\)

    3. \(C = \ln(e^3) - \ln\!\left(\dfrac{1}{e^2}\right) + 4\ln(\sqrt{e})\)

    4. \(D = \ln\!\left(\dfrac{e^4 \sqrt{e}}{e^2}\right)\)

Exercice n°2

Résoudre dans \(\mathbb{R}\) :

  1. \(\ln(3x - 1) = \ln(x + 5)\)

  2. \(\ln(x^2 - 1) = \ln(2x + 2)\)

  3. \(\ln(2x - 1) = \dfrac{3}{2}\)

  4. \((\ln x)^2 - 3\ln(x) + 2 = 0\)

  5. \(3(\ln x)^2 + 2\ln(x) - 1 = 0\)

  6. \(\ln(x + 2) + \ln(x - 1) = \ln(4)\)

Exercice n°3
  1. Résoudre dans \(\mathbb{R}\) :

    1. \(\ln(1 - x) > \ln(x^2 + 1)\)

    2. \(\ln(6 - 2x) \leq 0\)

    3. \(\dfrac{\ln(x) + 3}{\ln(x) - 1} \geq -1\)

    4. \(\ln(x^2 - 3x + 2) > 0\)

  2. Résoudre dans \(\mathbb{R}^2\) le système : \(\begin{cases} \ln(x) + \ln(y) = 4 \\ \ln(x) - \ln(y) = 2 \end{cases}\).

Calculer les limites suivantes :

  1. \(\lim\limits_{x \to +\infty} \ln(x) - \sqrt{x}\)

  2. \(\lim\limits_{x \to +\infty} \dfrac{x^2}{(\ln x)^2}\)

  3. \(\lim\limits_{x \to 0^+} \dfrac{\ln x}{x}\)

  4. \(\lim\limits_{x \to 0^+} x\,\ln(x^2)\)

  5. \(\lim\limits_{x \to 0^+} x\,(\ln x)^2\)

  6. \(\lim\limits_{x \to +\infty} 2x\,\ln\!\left(1 + \dfrac{3}{x}\right)\)

  7. \(\lim\limits_{x \to +\infty} \ln\!\left(\dfrac{2x + 1}{x + 3}\right)\)

Exercice n°5

Calculer la dérivée de chaque fonction sur un intervalle approprié :

  1. \(f_1(x) = \ln(x^2 + x + 1)\)

  2. \(f_2(x) = \ln|\sin x|\)

  3. \(f_3(x) = \ln\!\left(\dfrac{2x - 1}{x + 3}\right)\)

  4. \(f_4(x) = x\ln(x) - x\)

  5. \(f_5(x) = \dfrac{\ln x}{x^2}\)

  6. \(f_6(x) = \ln\!\left(x + \sqrt{x^2 + 1}\right)\)

Exercice n°6

Déterminer une primitive de chaque fonction :

  1. \(f_1(x) = \dfrac{3}{3x + 2}\) sur \(\left]-\dfrac{2}{3}\,;+\infty\right[\)

  2. \(f_2(x) = \dfrac{x}{x^2 + 4}\) sur \(\mathbb{R}\)

  3. \(f_3(x) = \dfrac{2x + 1}{x^2 + x - 6}\) sur \(]2\,;+\infty[\)

  4. \(f_4(x) = \dfrac{\sin x}{1 + \cos x}\) sur \(]-\pi\,;\pi[\)

  5. \(f_5(x) = \dfrac{(\ln x)^2}{x}\) sur \(]0\,;+\infty[\)

  6. \(f_6(x) = \dfrac{2}{x\,(\ln x)^2}\) sur \(]1\,;+\infty[\)

Exercice n°7

Soit \(f\) définie sur \(]0\,;+\infty[\) par \(f(x) = x - \ln x\).

  1. Déterminer \(D_f\) et calculer \(\lim\limits_{x \to 0^+} f(x)\), \(\lim\limits_{x \to +\infty} f(x)\).

  2. Étudier les branches infinies.

  3. Calculer \(f'(x)\) et étudier les variations de \(f\).

  4. Tracer la courbe \((\mathcal{C}_f)\) (allure).

  5. Démontrer que pour tout \(x > 0\), \(\ln(x) \leq x - 1\).

Exercice n°8

Soit \(f\) définie sur \(]0\,;+\infty[\) par \(f(x) = \dfrac{\ln x}{x}\).

  1. Calculer \(\lim\limits_{x \to 0^+} f(x)\) et \(\lim\limits_{x \to +\infty} f(x)\).

  2. Calculer \(f'(x)\) et étudier ses variations. Déterminer le maximum de \(f\) sur \(]0\,;+\infty[\).

  3. En déduire que pour tout \(x > 0\), \(\ln(x) \leq \dfrac{x}{e}\).

  4. Application : comparer \(e^\pi\) et \(\pi^e\) (indication : utiliser que \(f(\pi) < f(e)\), et admettre que \(\ln(\pi^e) = e\ln\pi\) et \(\ln(e^\pi) = \pi\)).

Exercice n°9

Pour \(a > 0\), \(a \neq 1\), on rappelle \(\log_a(x) = \dfrac{\ln x}{\ln a}\).

  1. Calculer \(\log_4(64)\), \(\log_9(3)\), \(\log_2\!\left(\dfrac{1}{8}\right)\).

  2. Résoudre dans \(\mathbb{R}\) : \(\log_2(x - 1) + \log_2(x + 1) = 3\).

  3. Résoudre dans \(\mathbb{R}\) : \((\log_2 x)^2 - 5\,\log_2(x) + 6 = 0\).

  4. Résoudre \(\log_2(x) \cdot \log_3(x) = \log_2(x) + \log_3(x)\) (indication : poser \(X = \ln x\)).

Exercice n°10

Soit \(f\) définie sur \(]0\,;+\infty[\) par \(f(x) = (\ln x)^2 - 2\ln(x)\).

  1. Calculer \(\lim\limits_{x \to 0^+} f(x)\) et \(\lim\limits_{x \to +\infty} f(x)\).

  2. Vérifier que \(f(x) = \ln x \,(\ln x - 2)\) et résoudre \(f(x) = 0\).

  3. Calculer \(f'(x)\), étudier son signe, et dresser le tableau de variations de \(f\).

  4. Montrer que la courbe \((\mathcal{C}_f)\) admet un point d’inflexion à déterminer.

  5. Déterminer l’équation de la tangente à \((\mathcal{C}_f)\) au point d’abscisse \(x = 1\).
